As a Dental Assistant operating under the Patient Centered Medical Home Model of Care, a typical day might include:
Experience Needed to Land this Gig:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
• State Dental Certification Course, if RDA a plus
• Personal commitment to the organization’s mission and values
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to place dental sealants and to fabricate temporary crowns a plus
• Ability to maintain corporate confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Excellent time management & critical thinking skills
• Tact and graciousness in dealing with the public, continuous professionalism with patients and co-workers
